Just wanted to solicit community response on available local group activities. When I passed my HAM tests, I was presented with various coupons/literature to join local radio groups. Of course, that paper is long gone. Curious as to the scope of local GMRS (and HAM...I guess) groups and feedback on particularly their scope of activity, type, quality, quantity. Is this forum the only thing in Vegas for GMRS? Any feedback appreciated.
Other than the Las Vegas GMRS Facebook page, I believe so, which is why I created it when I was given the chance.

I've been in the GMRS community for just a few years here in Vegas and I am not aware of any Clubs or Groups for specifically for GMRS. But, Thanks to Joy WRPI257, who was/is the Moderator for the FB paqge "Las Vegas GMRS" and now the Webmaster and creator for this web site LVGRMS.com, things are starting to gel and come together. Check out the listings under the Main Page titles "Links" and "Repeaters" for additional info for both GMRS and Ham.
